Ultimately what matters? is that the man is demonstrating a method to add life to a dead battery that in reality is worth zero. Even if it destroys the battery you’ve lost nothing as the battery is already dead. Whether you think the person is unsophisticated or not is besides the point that he is helping people. That’s what matters in the end.
