Bosch Battery Drill query…….?
I have a Bosch 18V battery drill, but no battery. I have found a 24v battery that I have made fit, will this really destroy the drill running this battery????

Homemade Electric Ice Auger Drilling 8 Holes In a Row Jan.21-2012.
This is the second video showing my homemade electric ice auger working on ice in Acton, Ontario. Drilled 17 holes today at -4 degrees, and the battery still had charge left. I used 24V battery to drive a 12V DC motor, there was no sign of over heat on motor. As long as the auger is not stuck in the ice for extra long time, it should be ok to do so. I think. Enjoy. This battery adapter enables you to use inexpensive Ryobi batteries for all your 18 volt DeWalt power tools. This was available on ebay, however ebay pulled the listing at the request of DeWalt and their parent company, The Black & Decker Corporation. They claimed the listing violates their intellectual property rights. I disagree with this decision and will appeal through the proper channels, so please check back here for a link to the re-listing when available. After all if you bought a Ford automobile and converted it to run on natural gas, and then offered that automobile for sale, would that be a violation of intellectual property?
